I like to explore with my hands, but I trouble choosing one area of focus. I have completely renovated my house, but nothing I do is craftsman quality. I want to build an electric car, hack computer hardware, build an FM transmitter, make a stone house.... My favorite titles are "The Last Whole Earth Catalog", "Shelter" and the VW Idiots Guide. I think "Make" magazine is a sham (nothing is really a hack; you actually need to know how to do stuff to even start), and instead like geeky sites …
