how to make a rocket that is launch by compressed air to about 200 ft and can be built in under an hour

Material

you will need duct tape scissors a piece of paper pvc pipe (3\4 or 1 inch pipe works best) and an air compressor

Fusalage

wrap the piece of paper around the pipe and tape it then cover the whole piece of paper in 2-3 layers of tape. slide it to the end of the pipe and put about 5 layers of tape over one side

Fins

take the index cards cut them in half or 4ths or thirds however big you want the fins to be. the put duct tape around them. I'm only using 3 fins but 4 works too. now tape the fins onto the fuselage

Launch Prep

cut the back of the rocket three or four times this makes it easier to slide onto the rocket. is you find the rocket very hard to slide onto the pipe, then sand the rocket with some sand paper and that should make it easier. put lots of tape on the bottom of the rocket to effectively seal it, use an air compressor with a valve and a needle. use a pin to puncture the duct tape on the bottom of the tube then stick the needle through. be very careful because breaking a needle is very easy.

Launch

using the air compressor to compress the air it the pipe. hold the rocket on the pipe until you feel sufficient pressure then let go of the rocket to launch it. the longer the pipe the higher it will go. for even more hight see the "launch it" instructible.
