Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies in Six Steps
This is my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe because it’s simple, and does not take up much time. It makes 10-15 cookies, depending on your desired size.
Supplies
Before you start, make sure you have all the materials and ingredients you need ready.
For these cookies, you will need
2 and 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Two sticks softened butter
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
10-12oz chocolate chips (depending on how much you like)
cookie sheets
mixer (optional)
Gather Your Materials
Gather all the ingredients and supplies you need, including your mixer and your measuring tools, then preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix Your Dry Ingredients
In a small bowl, stir your baking soda, flour, and salt until it's thoroughly mixed. Set this aside for later.
Blend the Rest
In your mixer, add the butter along with the sugar and brown sugar. Blend at medium speed until completely mixed. Switch your mixer to its lowest setting, then add your eggs, one at a time until completely mixed. Add in the vanilla extract.
Add Your Dry Ingredients
Keep your mixer on its lowest setting, and add in the dry ingredient mix slowly, about 1/3 until completely incorporated, then the next third. When all the dry mix is blended with the rest in your mixing bowl, add the chocolate chips. Your finished cookie dough should be thick and creamy.
Bake the Dough
Drop the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet, to do this you can use a tablespoon or an ice cream scooper, depending on your desired cookie size. Put the cookie sheet with the dough onto a baking pan and place it in the oven, and set a timer for ten minutes.
Let Them Cool
Remove your cookies from the oven and let them sit to cool on the baking sheet for up to ten minutes. Make sure to store them wrapped in a cool dry place or a refrigerator. Now your cookies are ready to eat!
