Whole Wheat Tandoori Paneer Tikka Pizza
How is everyone doing? I am doing good. I know we are living in a weird situation of life right now– having to stay indoors and self-isolate–but I hope that the recipe I am sharing this time is helpful and bring delicious smells and joy to your homes! This whole wheat, no-yeast, no-rise, tandoori paneer tikka pizza (phew, what a name!) is a recipe that I recently made. Now as I know many people are on a budget or strapped for time having to entertain kids, I hope this quick, healthy, new and easy pizza recipe will nourish not only your bodies, but your souls as well!
Supplies
For Pizza Dough :
Whole Wheat Flour – 2 Cups
Baking Powder – 1 tsp
Salt – ¼ tsp
Sugar – 2 pinch
Yogurt – ¼ Cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
Water – as required
For Tandoori Paneer Tikka Marination :
Yogurt – ¼ Cup
Tandoori Masala – 1-1/2 tbsp
Paneer – ¼ Cup (cut into cubes)
Onion – 1 (cut into cubes)
Green Pepper – 1 (cut into cubes)
Salt – to taste
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1-1/2 tsp
For Pizza :
Pizza dough
Marinated Paneer Tikka
Pizza Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
Red Chilli Flakes
Dried Oregano
Onion Juliens (in rounds)
Making Pizza Dough
In a bowl add whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and yogurt and mix well. Now add oil and mix it and knead a soft dough by adding little water at a time. Cover it and keep it aside.
Making Tandoori Paneer Tikka Marination
Take a bowl, add yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice and salt. Mix well. Now add Kashmiri red chilli powder. Mix well. Now add Paneer, green bell pepper and onions. Give a mix gently. Cover it and keep it in the refrigerator for atleast an hour.
Making Tandoori Paneer Tikka Pizza
Preheat oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit . Give one more knead to the dough to make it smooth. Now take some dough and make a ball. Press it with your hands by dusting flour on it. Prick it with the help of a fork. Transfer it on the baking tray. Spread pizza sauce over it. Put some marinated paneer tikka mixture evenly. Grate mozzarella cheese on it. Arrange onions rounds and sprinkle some red chilli flakes and dried oregano. Put it into the oven and bake it for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into slices and enjoy!!
