Victory Prop
Although I grew up in Iowa I became a Celtics fan after sitting in front of the TV watching Cowens, Havlicek, and other players. The Celtics were easy to cheer for because ‘Victory’ was in their vocabulary more often than not. Through the years their success continued.
Being in sales, I tried to have that same level of success. This October, my company’s annual monthly sales contest which I reside in the Midwest, I was able to put together successful game planning and come out with a big ‘Victory’ for the team that brought those memories back of the Celtics. I wore this jersey with ‘Garnett’s’ name on the back on our company’s Zoom call and everyone loved it.
Supplies
Supplies:
1 brown paper bag
1 black permanent marker
Scissors
Tape
Make the Cigar
- Cut the paper bag in two on the seam, discard one half of bag.
- Start at one end of bag that has the bottom and roll 1/8th to a 1/4-inch tightly to the end.
- Take a piece of tape approximately one inch and place on seam to seal.
- Repeat step 3 two times, so cigar has at least three pieces of tape.
Design the Cigar
- Take the black permanent marker and start at the tip opposite of the bottom making short strokes 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in length all around the cigar. Do not fill in entirely as you want it to look like ash.
- Put on your party costume and use your prop to celebrate with your homemade ‘Victory’ cigar,
