It is always advised to keep all the ingredients ready to cook before you actually start off . Same way, first wash the tomatoes, onions and the capsicum and chop them down. Keep these aside while you clean the cabbage. For the cabbage, remove a couple of layers away as it could contain dirt. Then slice the cabbage into small pieces and wash it.

Now we’re ready to make the salad that goes in between the toast.

As the name suggests, it’s obvious that the filling must have mayonnaise in it. So to make this filling, add all the Veggies into a mixing bowl. Add a little bit of salt and give it a rough mix. Now add required amount of mayonnaise to the bowl and start mixing it.

Also add pepper powder if you want it to be spicy. Mix all the ingredients properly and leave it for a while. Squeeze in a little lemon juice while mixing.

It’s Grill Time

Once you have the filling ready, it’s time to turn on the Sandwich grill. After the sandwich maker is heated, butter up the surface a little bit .

Now place make the sandwich by placing the salad in between two slices of bread. Gently press it all together and place it into the sandwich maker and close it. All you have to do now is to wait for it to be grilled.

Slice and Serve
