Veg Loaded Mayo Burger
A burger is a sandwich consisting of one or more cooked patty of ground meat, usually beef, placed inside a sliced bread roll or bun. A traditional recipe of the burger will have a patty inside it.
But for those of you who don’t have time to make a patty, but want to have a quick bite at a burger, this Instructable can turn out pretty useful. In this Instructable, I’ll show you a simple recipe on how to make a veg burger sandwich loaded with veggies and Mayonnaise.
The Ingredients
For this quick snack, you’ll be needing the following ingredients:
- Buns
- Capsicum
- Tomato
- Cabbage
- Salt
- Pepper Powder
- Lemon
- Mayonnaise
- Butter (To Toast the Buns)
Chop Chop
The only hardest part of this recipe is to chop down the veggies into small pieces, like the size you usually find in a salad. First wash the tomatoes and the capsicum and chop them down. Keep these aside while you clean the cabbage. For the cabbage, remove a couple of layers away as it could contain dirt. Then slice the cabbage into small pieces and wash it.
Now we’re ready to make the salad that goes in between the toast.
The Mayo Salad
Add all the Veggies into a mixing bowl. Add a little bit of salt and give it a rough mix. Now add required amount of mayonnaise to the bowl and start mixing it.
Also add pepper powder if you want it to be spicy. Mix all the ingredients properly and leave it for a while. Squeeze in a little lemon juice while mixing.
You can also add in a bit of chili flakes to turn up the heat in the salad.
Time to Toast
So now that the salad is ready, heat up a flat pan on the stove.
Butter up the pan and slightly toast the buns. Cut the buns in half and add in the stuffing for it. Now toast it well on the grill till the surfaces become crispy and then flip it over to do the same.
Plate and Serve
Once the buns are toasted nicely with the buttery crust, it's time to treat yourself with this yummy snack.
This Burger can be best tasted with mayonnaise and tomato ketchup. You can never go wrong with a yogurt dip too.
So try it out and let me know how it turned out to be.
Bon Apetit !!
