I used Betty Crocker vanilla cake mix but you can use whatever brand you would like.

Follow the instructions on the back of the cake mix box.

I used two eight inch circle pans but you can use whatever shape you would like.

Don’t forget to pre-heat the oven!

I mixed the ingredients and poured the batter in the pans.
I baked the cake at 350*F

Pudding Time!

Once you have pulled out your cakes and have let them cool you can start making the lemon pudding.
I used the JELL-O lemon pudding but of course you can use whatever brand you would like.

Follow the instructions on the box of the lemon pudding.

Once your pudding is done you can start poking holes into the cake. Poking holes into your cake might sound weird but I assure you it’s all part of the process. You can take the end of a wooden spoon just as long as it has a some what circular shape at the end. You want to poke holes all over the cake. The holes need to go all the way through. Once your done poking the holes you can pour the pudding into the holes. You can pipe the pudding into the holes or you can spoon in the pudding. I added a little extra lemon pudding on top, because who doesn’t love a little extra pudding on top.

Decorating!

Now It’s the time you have all been waiting for. Decorating! Once you have your pudding in the holes you can add the cool whip on top. It doesn’t need to be perfect and you can add as much cool whip as you would like. Once you are happy with how your cake looks you can move onto the fruit. I used blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Decorate however you would like! I just placed them randomly around the cake.

Now that you have finished baking and decorating your cake you can finally cut into it and see how it turned out! You should be able to see the yummy pockets of pudding. Enjoy! It’s delicious!
