Use Up Greasy Leftovers (Spaghetti and Garlic Parmesan Bites on Pita)
So this week was kind of a busy one. We spent more on fast food than we normally do and then when we did cook, we accidentally added too much oil. So at the end of the week today the leftovers we had were kind of greasy and not appetizing.
If you live in an area with Big Daddy's Pizza, they have these things called "Garlic Parmesan Bites". I discovered them by way of coupon for free order of them and 1) the order is humongous and 2) they are greasy. They were also just a tad too moist, like they'd been cooked and then put into their to-go container to marinate in their steam for a bit. Oh well. The oven will take care of that.
Enter the Last Pita Bread. It's stale and no one wants to eat it. I might as well get some use out of it, as a grease sponge!
Put it in a pie plate and cover it with some of those greasy bites, and dump some spaghetti over the top. If you are vegetarian, ignore the part where there are also two leftover pork cutlets in there.
Then bung the whole thing in the oven until it is nice and hot. I did about a half hour. Le Boyfriend does not usually like leftovers, but he took seconds of this, so you know it's good!
