Ultrasonic Non-directional Speaker

I made new type of loud speaker using ultrasonic. parametric speaker is known as directional speaker. Old parametric speaker sound is like cheap radio. but recently, new driver is developed and sound quality become good.

I noticed the sound of new parametric speaker is good for audio. vocal sound is very vividly. though, you get headache listening the ultrasound at long time.

So I add long pipe to parametric speaker for reducing ultrasound. directional sound is gone. but good sound is left.

I used parametric speaker kit. the directional sound is sharp and strong. middle and high frequency is good. but lower sound is slightly distorted. if you make this speaker, I recommend adding subwoofer.

• Cardboard pipe
• Flower pot
• L type metal fittings
• Laundry bag
• Wood screw

all material bought at home center in Japan.
