Trailer Dolly

I have recently decided to make a trailer dolly to move my jet ski trailer. It is very simple to make using an old bed frame and some other metal parts.

Supplies

Tools.

-welder

-angle grinder

Supplies

-bed frame

-two smallish wheels

-2 long bolts and 6 nuts

-steel pipe

-two square pipes that fit into each other.

-a trailer ball and nut.

The Base

I cut a small piece of a bed frame about 1ft long and welded the two bolts to either end.

The Handle

Next, I cut two pieces of pipe, 1 ft, and 4ft, and welded them together to create the handle. I then welded that to the base.

The Pipe

Sorry for the bad picture, but basically I cut at an angle to the middle of the bigger pipe, and then welded that to the base. Then I welded the nut inside the smaller pipe. The smaller pipe can be adjusted for bigger or smaller trailers. I just used a screw to hold it up.

Final Step

Finally, I added the wheels. I put one nut all the way at the end, then the wheel, then two more nuts to lock it in place. and it finished. Enjoy
