Tootsietoy Dollhouse From Bird Feeder

Last week my sister gave me my mothers old Tootsietoys. They are not dollhouse scale, they are a little bigger than half of dollhouse size 1:24. I bought a bird house at Michaels and cut it up. I took the back off and the interior verticals and made it taller, deeper and gave it an upper floor.  Then I painted it and printed flooring. It's pretty rough but I figure that had the house been made in the 30's it might have also been. I 3D printed the bed, because you need a bed, and a couple of ladies to live there. To make it easy, the ladies are in bathing suits. This dollhouse cannot be played with by small children! Tootsietoys contain lead.

Supplies

Birdhouse kit from craft store. A few peices of luan. Glue. Patterned paper for flooring. Scissors.Tools to take apart the birdhouse and glue it back together. craft paint.

Buy birdhouse of approximately the right size. Take off the back, the front steps, and interior partitions. Use that wood to extend the sides, and make the whole thing 1.5 " taller. Cut a piece of luan for the second floor and for the base.
