The Best Way to Cook Bacon!

This is how I always cook my Bacon.

BAKIN' BACON!

It turns out light and crispy (like potato chips!)

The Setup

Line your baking pan with foil. This makes clean-up so much easier!
(and also easier to funnel that yummy bacon juice into a jar for later usage :)

Then lay out those thick strips of happiness on a cookie cooling rack.
This way the fat drips off so you don't have to feel bad about eating ALL THE BACONS!

*And some super delicious alternatives (if you like this sort of thing):

 - Try Sprinkling Salt, Pepper, and your Favorite Herbs on the Bacons for a great savory snack (I like Rosemary)
 - Another excellent choice is to Drizzle Maple Syrup or Honey on the Bacons. So Sweet! (try a sprinkling of Cinnamon or Brown Sugar too!)

Then they are ready for the oven!

The Bake

Now bake those babies in the oven at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes or so...
(depending on your prefered level of floppy to crispy Bacon)

* if your bacons are going from here into another baked treat, I would take them out when they are a bit floppy so they don't turn into rocks later.

Listen to them sizzle and pop. Oh Joy! I love the smell of bacons cooking :)

The Eat!

Take those tasty little guys out of the oven. Yay!

But before you begin to Tazmanian Devil into that bacon, give them a minute to cool down. I know it's excruciating to sit there and stare, waiting for the Yumminess to cool. But trust me, it's worth the wait. If you burn your mouth now, you won't taste the bacon! And that would be THE WORST THING EVER!!!

Ok, now that it's cool... NOM NOM NOM !!!!!! what?
