The BEST Valentines Day Gift
These are delicious chocolate strawberries with a little twist to enhance the flavor. They are covered with graham cracker crumbs. The graham cracker gives the strawberry a nice crunch and makes it very delicious.
Preparing the Strawberries
Give your strawberries a quick rinse and dry them off really well. If they are still wet the chocolate won't stick to them very well.
Adding the Skewers
After you dry off the strawberries, grab a skewer for each one. Insert a skewer on the bottom of each strawberry. Don't poke the skewer all the way through the strawberry, stop at about the center.
Crushing the Graham Crackers
Get one or two graham crackers and put them in a Ziploc. Then crush them, you can crush them with your hands from outside the bag. Put the crumbs on a plate, this will make it much easier to work with.
The Final Preparation
Grab a couple squares of chocolate, I like to use Hershey's milk chocolate. Melt the chocolate in the microwave for about one minute.
Dressing the Strawberry
Grab a strawberry by the stick and roll it in the chocolate until it is fully covered. If there are spots on the strawberry that don't have chocolate you can use a spoon to add chocolate to them. After the chocolate is applied sprinkle the graham cracker on it so that it covers most of the surface area.
Placing the Strawberries
Once you have put the chocolate and the graham cracker on the strawberries you can simply put them in a jar or bowl. You can put the strawberries in fridge for thirty minutes or you can just leave them inside your house. It was snowing where I live and it was very cold so I just left the strawberry inside and they froze in about thirty minutes.
The Best Part (eating Them!)
Enjoy these delicious strawberries by yourself or you can share with someone special!
