Teddy Bear Oatmeal Cookies
Who doesn't love Teddy Bears? Who doesn't love oatmeal cookies? Put them together... And you have the ultimate snack! Well this instructable is all about just that. Now lets get on to the recipe.
Supplies
½ C. butter, softened
1 C. flour
½ C. sugar
½ tsp. baking soda
½ C. brown sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 egg
¾ tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. vanilla extract
1 ½ C. quick-cooking rolled oats
Chocolate Chips
A Small Glass
A Normal Sized Class
1/4 cup of Sugar for the Snout.
Preheat Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Putting the Wet Ingredients Into the Mixer
In a medium mixing bowl, 1/2 cup of beat butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar on medium speed until blended.
Add More Ingredients to the Bowl
Once done mixing beat in your 1 egg and add in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Put mixer on medium until blended in.
Putting the Dry Ingredients Into a Bowl
In a small bowl, stir together 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix in small bowl until all mixed together.
Mix the Ingredients Together
Add all of the ingredients together and put the mixer on low speed and mix until all bunched together.
Add the Oats
Add 1 1/2 cups of oats to the mixer. Then mix until all bunched together.
Making the Bears
Roll all of them into balls. To assemble the cookies make six 1 1/4 inch cookie dough balls flatten them on the cookie sheet with your small cup. For the ears and snout make 18 1/2 inch cookie dough balls. Take the ones that you want for the snout and roll them in the 1/4 of sugar. Then place them to make the shape of your bear and then flatten them with your small cup. If you have extra cookies dough just make more bears.
Baking the Cookies
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
Add the Face
Place one chocolate chip on the snout to make a nose. Then add two more chocolate chips to make eyes.
