Tank Pencil Sharpener

Tank Pencil Sharpener | DIY | Cement Craft | 콘크리트 탱크 연필깎이

I'm showing you how I made the Tank Pencil Sharpener using cement. You can make it by making a mold using PVC film and Foamex, and pouring cement dough into the mold. You can see a brief description of how to make the Tank Pencil Sharpener here, or you can watch a video that shows how to make it in more detail. If you want a manual, you can click the link in the video information.

Supplies

colored pencil, glue stick, paper bowl, knife, instant adhesive, pencil sharpener, paper cup, wooden stick, foamex(1mm), PVC(0.3mm), mortar cement

Cutting According to the Drawing

Step 1. Cut the Foamex(1mm) and PVC(0.3mm) plates according to the drawing. And then attach 'Part L' and 'Part K' with instant adhesive.

Step 2. Attach ‘Part J’ to the center of the PVC. And attach PVC to the side of another ‘Part J’ to create a cylinder with one side open.

Making the Main Body Mold

Step 3. Attach this to the main body in the correct position. Attach both tracks symmetrically. The reason the track is not completely covered with PVC is to pour cement dough into this gap.

Step 4. Before pouring cement, secure both sides of the injection hole with wooden sticks to prevent the shape from being distorted. Once it has hardened, carefully tear off the mold.

Assembling the Turret

Step 5. Next it's time to build the tank's turret. Attach Part E, Part F, and Part I. After adding ‘Part H’ here,

Step 6. Attach ‘Part G’ and ‘Part D’ in order. The square formex shown in the photo is a frame that holds the shape of the cylinder. Since it is not in the drawing, you can cut the circular form and use the remaining part.

Inserting a Glue Stick

Step 7. When the mold is completed, insert a glue stick through the hole drilled in the PVC. Attach 'Part A', 'Part B', and 'Part C' to make the turret lid. It will be easier to make if you make a handle with leftover Foamex.

Pouring Cement Dough

Step 8. Pour cement dough into the completed mold and then place the turret lid on top.

Step 9. Once hardened, carefully remove the mold. And then attach the pencil sharpener to the inside of the turret by aligning it with the pencil hole.

Done!
