I made a super easy cobweb! I was determined to make this as cheap, and as easy as possible.

My goal for this project was to make it as easy, affordable, and as simple as I could, with what I already had at home.

To prep for this project, you'll need 2 gluesticks, 3 clothing hangers, cotton balls, and painters tape!

To start, you'll remove the bottom from all of the clothing hangers.

Set-up!

After you remove the bottom from the clothing hangers, set them aside and turn your attention to the cotton balls! For the cotton balls, all you'll need to do is roll each one out into a strip.

Tip: Unrolling the cotton balls can be stressful! To make this easier on yourself, you can just poke the middle with your finger, and the center will almost always come out! This makes it so much easier to peel them apart.

To start constructing the web, you'll need to grab your glue stick, and just start covering the clothing-hanger-piece in glue!

If you don't have a glue stick, I'm sure liquid glue (like elmers) or hot glue would work! I just used what I had on hand. :)

After the clothing hanger pieces have glue on them, you can start wrapping your unraveled cotton balls around the sticks.

After all three of your plastic sticks are all successfully wrapped in the cotton balls, arrange two of them into an X shape, with the third one going down the middle of the two, to turn it into a snowflake shape!

After you get it into the shape you want, connect them all in the middle with painters tape! Don't worry about making it messy, a bit of glue and cotton balls will fix you right up!

Crafting! Pt. 3

After everything is taped together, conceal the part you've taped with glue and cotton balls!

Don't worry about making a mess, it's going to happen, just keep going!

After you're done covering the middle with cotton balls, you're going to want to start creating the web.

Apply glue to about 1 1/2 inches away from the middle where the tape is, on all 6 sides.

After the glue is on there, you can attach your unrolled cotton ball! Do this the entire way around, and then again but about 3 inches higher.

Finally, pose your easy new cobweb in an area of the house you think it would look super spooky cool in!
