Sugar waxing is a method of hair removal that has the benefits of waxing however is less painful and healthier. The recipe is quick and easy to make- only requires 3 ingredients.

What you need:

1 cup sugar

1/8 cup water

1/8 cup lemon juice

You may wish to double the recipe however this makes the perfect amount for me.

I used brown sugar however you may wish to use caster sugar as its easier to tell if its cooked as you can rely on the mixture turning a golden brown colour.

Mix

Add ingredients and mix in a bowl before transferring into a saucepan. Make sure to fully mix now because once the mixture is heated its better not to mix it.

Heat

Heat over a low heat. This way you cannot burn the wax and its easiest to know when its done.

Wait for the mixture to heat up and begin to bubble. The entire mixture needs to bubble that's when you know its done. Don't stir it.

Leave to Cool

Transfer to a glass jar and leave to cool for at least 30 minutes. Then your wax is done!
