In this Instructable I used sticks and a bouncy ball to help me decorate a t-shirt.

For this Instructable you will need, a t-shirt, Acrylic paint, a bouncy ball, one medium sized stick, 7-10 little sticks, and a paint brush to help with filling in empty spots.

Paint Your Sticks

First you are going to paint your sticks with brown acrylic paint. Use a paint brush and put thick globs of brown paint all over one side of a stick. Then place the painted side of the stick down on the t-shirt. Push down and if needed put hand in shirt to make sure the paint is getting everything. Then slowly lift the stick off of the shirt.

Fill in Tree Trunk

Now, take your paint brush and fill in any empty spots of the tree trunk. This is so that the tree trunk does not have too many non painted spots.

Place Little Sticks

Next place all of the little sticks in the places that you want them to be in so that you know right where you need to put them when you put the paint on.

Now that the sticks are placed you are going to want to do the same thing that you did with the big stick just with smaller ones. So paint each stick brown, one at a time and press them to the shirt. Then slowly lift the sticks up, fill in any blank spots with paint brush.

Ball Colors

Finally, now we are moving on to the ball. Take a bouncy ball and paint half of it with a color of paint. Roll the ball in little circles. Then take the ball off and fill in any blank spots with the paint brush. make three dots of each color. For example I did, three yellow dots, three green dots, three light blue dots, three bark blue dots, three red dots, and three purple dots.

*Make sure you spread dots all around the shirt, not just in one spot.
