Spicy Ranch Snack Mix

To make snacks a little more fun for the kids this has become a favorite snack in our house. Not to mention its a quick and cheap snack you can adjust to fit your tastes!!!

We use a bag of pretzels (half pretzel rods and half pretzel twists)

bag of oyster crackers

half to full box of cheez its

half bag of crunchy cheetos (didn't have any this time....)

Supplies

liquid measuring cup

1 t. measuring spoon

whisk

large mixing bowl

spatula or two

2 cookie sheets and aluminum foil

Liquid and Spices

Start with Preheat oven to 300

1 C. vegetable oil

1 t. Cayenne pepper

1 package ranch mix

1 t. garlic salt

Mix all together

and pour into Large bowl

Adding the Munchies!

The mix calls for approximately 2 bags of pretzels....

We like a mixture of munchies in ours.

cheez its, pretzels, oyster crackers, crunchy cheetos. The options are about endless!!!

Throw all into the Large mixing bowl with the oil and spices and mix it all up!

Bake

Put foil onto 2 cookie sheets, then spread the mix evenly over the cookie sheets.

Put them in the oven for 1 hr. pull out and give a quick stir halfway through!

I will say to let them cool for a few mins then enjoy, but I tend to grab and pop some in my mouth right out of the oven and instantly regret my actions. LOL
