Somewhere Over the Rainbow
I decided to use my card making materials to make a picture onto the canvas instead of just on a regular card. It is great to show different mediums that can be used on the canvas too. I enjoy making these as gifts .
Step 1 :
Materials and Equipment you will need.
- A little easel (canvas measures 16.5cm x 12.5cm) .
-A mixture of card and paper (for background, rainbow and pot)
- unicorn and grass die cut shapes
-butterfly and flower hand punches
-adhesive gems
-happy birthday peel offs
- scissors, glue, 3D sticky pads and double sided sticky tape
Step 2 :
Cut the backing paper to size and using the double sided sticky tape ,stick the paper to the canvas.
Cut the rainbow out using the papers you have gathered also draw a pot shape and cut that out ,glue all these to the canvas .
Glue the die cut unicorn over the rainbow.
Step 5 :
Add the 3D spaces onto the back of the grass die cut (this will give it a raised effect) placed grass at the bottom of the canvas.
Step 6:
Add the gold gems to the pot to give the effect of a pot of gold .
Step 7:
Using the punches, punch out the flowers and butterflies with some of the left over papers and place them wherever you like on the canvas, some can be glued others could be raised .
Step 8:
Add gems onto the flowers and the unicorns tail and mane and then it is complete and ready to place on the stand .
