Hey Guys!

So if you've been shufflng between a Mac and a PC.

You should have notices this.

What? Read on.

Mac hardisks don't work on Windows and Windows hard disks don't work on a Mac. Oh no! Frozen Cutlet!

Don't worry! I've got a simply simple solution.

Let move on to the steps:

What Causes the Problem? Some Tech Bro.

Alright!

Have you heard of fancy terms like exFat, FAT32, NTFS or even, HFS+

Well these denote the formats in which your harddisk is formatted and remeber this:

NTFS and FAT32 are exclusively for Windows while,

HFS+ is exclusively for Mac OS.

Now, I wouldn't confuse you with too much details but the only flexible option left with us is

exFAT (Yes, you gussed it right, genius)

Wait!

Now, let's see how to incorportate exFAT that works on both Mac and PC.

Incorporating ExFat

Let's hop in:

1) Attach your external HDD on a windows PC

2) Backup existing data as were going to format it.

3) Now right click on your drive in my computer.

4) Click on format.

5) In the dialog box chose exFat.

6) Here you go.

Final Impressions

Now, you'll be able to use your harddisk on both mac os and windows. Take advantage of both the enemies. Rock on! and Cheers!
