Solder Where You Want
Low cost portable soldering station for SMD components (and not), with digital microscope.
I want to share this simple project which is very useful for me.
It is a portable and compact soldering station (also for SMD components with hot air).
This project is very useful for those who do not have a laboratory or a fixed space, for those who want to do occasional jobs in the comfort of their own home or even for those who want to do accurate welding work during, for example, a service away from home.
It closes in a strong carrying case, can be stored in a closet.
In seconds it is ready to use!
Don't give up your passion for electronics!

The work consists of an assembly of the various tools inside the case.
I suggest the follow the tips below:
- The case is made of wood, so the various objects can be fixed with through screws and nuts
- Position all components before drilling and fixing, making sure you can close the case.
- Reserve the internal-rear sector for winding the power cable and for a power strip to connect the power supplies
- Securely fix the soldering station, I used two "L" shaped metal bars on the sides of the soldering station base and I anchored the base using a clamp.
- It is very useful to fix the spool of the pond in order to be unrolled: this is very practical!
