Snicker Cake
We made Snicker Cake for our project in STEM class. We chose Snicker Cake because we thought that it looked really good. It also looked easy to make, turns out it was not. We hope that you try the recipe even though it is a little challenging to make.
Snicker Cake Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup boiling water
Snicker topping:
1 cup caramel sauce
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/8 cup sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 bars SNICKERS
chopped 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts
caramel sauce for drizzling
Directions
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and mix well.
Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the chocolate mixture and beat well.
Gradually pour 1 cup of boiling water into the chocolate mixture, mix well on low speed until combined, then mix on high speed for two minutes.
Pour the finished cake batter into a greased and floured 13x9 pan
Cook at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Making the whipped cream
4 cups of heavy whipping cream.
2 tsp. of sugar
whip at a high rate of speed until light and fluffy (should only take about 5 minutes)
Poor the whipped cream on the cooled chocolate cake
Then pour the whipped cream over the cake and sprinkle the chopped up snickers and peanuts on the whipped cream.
Once the cake is done, let it cool for 10 min. Then poke holes all over the cake. Mix sweetened condensed milk with the caramel sauce and pour it all over the cake. Then pour the whipped cream over the cake and sprinkle the chopped up Snickers and peanuts on the whipped cream. Finally, drizzle caramel on top of the whole cake, and refrigerate the cake for thirty minutes before serving.
