Smart Pie / Magic Pie

This is the smart pie, , the magic here is that you will prepare one mixture but you will get three textures: sponge cake, flan and pudding.

Supplies

  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vainilla
  • 1 spoonful of water
  • 100 g of butter
  • 115 g of flour
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 4 drops of vinegar


  • 2 bowls
  • Rod mixer
  • Oven
  • Baking tin
  • Rubber spatula

Prepare Baking Tin

Spread a little butter on the base and sides of the mold, then sprinkle a little flour and move the mold so that it is all over.

Butter

If your butter is too cold, put it in the microwave for a few seconds, we don't want it to melt completely.

Start Mixing

Separate the yolks from the whites.

In the egg yolks bowl, add the sugar, the vainilla and the water. Mix until a whitish color is achieved.

Butter

Add the butter and integrate it.

Milk and Flour

Add the milk and flour little by little, not all at once. Until the milk and flour are used up.

Preheat the Oven

Turn the oven on at 160º Celsius/320º Fahrenheit.

Whipping the Egg Whites

In another bowl add the egg whites and the 4 drops of vinegar, beat it with the rod mixer at maximum power for a while and when the mixture is firm as in the pictures it will be ready.

Mix All

Take the two mixtures and mix them together with a rubber spatula, don't stir too hard, there must be lumps.

To the Oven

Pour all the mixture into the baking tin and place it in the middle of the oven at 160ºC/320ºF and leave it for 45 minutes.

45 Min Later

Let cool, run a knife around the edges and you're done!
