How to make a super cute plushie
Supplies
Sewing Machine, Straight pins Scissors for paper and material, Paper to cut pattern out, pencil fabric marker, cotton black cotton to embroider eyes Polar fleece for body and cap, white toweling for face and soft toy stuffing.
Fold pattern paper in half , and draw plushie's body and legs. Place pattern piece on polar fleece.
Cut body and legs according to pattern piece. For the cap cut a 6 x 20 cm strip of polar fleece.
For the face cut a 14 cm in diameter circle, For the ears cut 2 piece toweling shaped like an eight.
pin body and cap pieces with right sides together. Use as many pins as possible to keep pattern pieces together on polar fleece this also helps the polar fleece not to stretch, when sewed together. leave a section of the body not sewed.
Hand sew face piece 1/2 cm from the edge of the circle. Pull cotton to form a face shape and fill with stuffing.
Turn body right sides out and fill with stuffing too. Sew close the opening of the body.
Sew stitches to the top of the cap and pull cotton to gather material, the top side of the cap. Sew firm stitches to keep the gathers. Fold in a hem and sew cap to the stuffed face piece.
Draw or hand embroider face features, as shown in picture.
Fold each eight shape pieces in half and hand sew ears in place on part of cap.
Place stuffed pieces in place and hand sew the head to the body.
