Supplies

Materials

  • 3 - 1x2x8
  • 1 - 1x4x4
  • 8 - bolts 1/4"-2"
  • 4 - nuts 1/4"
  • 8 - washers 1/4"
  • 4 - wingnuts 1/4"
  • wood screws
  • wood glue

Tools

  • saw
  • drill
  • 1/4" drill bit
  • drill bit for pilot holes
  • jig saw (optional)
  • router (optional)
  • 7/16 wrench
  • 7/16 socket
  • clamps (optional)

Cut Pieces

  1. Cut all pieces to length
  2. Drill holes for bolts with 1/4" drill bit
  3. Round the ends of the front and rear supports to allow rotation

Note: The height and length of the stand can be adjusted by moving the holes up or down the base and front supports.

Assembly

  • Assemble the base using 4' and 18" 1x2s with 2 screws at each joint. (use wood glue for a stronger joint.)
  • Counter sink bolts in the 3" pieces
  • Bolt front supports to 3" pieces
  • Attach 3" pieces to the base with screws and wood glue
  • Bolt rear supports to base.
  • Bolt rear support to front support
  • Attach the 16 1/2" 1x4 to the front supports
  • Attach 14" (Top) piece to the 2-3 1/2" pieces
  • Bolt the Top assembly to the front supports
