Silhouette Melted Crayon Art - Iowa
I melted crayons outlining a silhouette of Iowa, USA. I chose Iowa because it's where I was born and where some of my family still lives.
Supplies
- Crayons- Of any color
- Canvas- For the crayons to melt on
- Glue- For the crayons
- Black foam with a stick on back- The silhouette
- Heat gun or blow dryer- To melt the crayons
Make Your Shape
Cut your silhouette out of the black cardstock.
Place Your Shape
Find where you want to place the silhouette and place it carefully.
Prep Your Crayons
Remove the paper off of the crayons that you chose.
Place Your Crayons
Glue down your crayons in the places you want them to melt.
Melt the Crayons
Hold your canvas, with the direction of where you want your crayons to melt, down. Make sure you have something, like a piece of paper, to keep the melted crayons off of your table.
