Shift Tac Toe

Shift-Tac-Toe is the action packed strategy game where three-in-a-row wins!  The gameboard changes on every turn as players choose between dropping a disc down one of the slots or shifting the gameboard.  The results can be very surprising and one move can turn the whole game around! Your opponent may have the upper hand when, suddenly, with just one shift, you get the win!

The rules are simple. Each player has five discs. When it's your turn you can either drop a disc in one of the three columns, or you can slide one of the horisontal rows one position to the left or the right. This might cause some of the already played discs to fall down if they enter a column without a disc beneath it. If a disc is pushed outside of the grid, it will fall out and is returned to the player of that color. If all five of your discs are in play, you must still take a turn by sliding one of the rows.

Shift Tac Toe was released in 1988 by Pressman games. It´s hard to find today so I decided to make my own version.

I'm very pleased how it turned out. And it's really fun to play.

Print Instructions

0.2 mm layer height. 15% infill. No supports.

Except for the discs where I used 100% infill to make them a little heavier.

Assembly Instructions

• Glue the parts for the sliders B.
• Put the release button A7 on top of A8 and connect it to the base A1. Check the orientation.
• Put the sliders in the grooves on the base A1. The little bump at the center hole should be at the top.
• Connect all parts A without glue. Now you can test that everything works.
• Reconnect and glue the parts A. (Except for the release button A7 of course)
