Secret Compartment in Drawer

Hii Makers.

This instructable is made to hide personal things.

I have computer table with a drawer facility to make small things inside.

Now I have an idea to hide my personal things inside without changing the architecture of the table .

So, Let’s start making Hidden compartment.

Collect all supplies and get ready to make them .

1>MDF 4mm thickness (300 mm x 300mm)

2>MDF cutting tool

3>Fevicol Adhesive

4>Spray paint(if needed for finishing)

First measure internal dimension of drawer to cut MDF to place inside to make Hidden compartment.

Measure Length, width and height of drawer.

My drawer measurement is .

Length:260mm

Width: 460mm

Height:60mm

Small MDF part for support: 40mm x 15mm

Use Pencil and draw Measurement of drawer Half. also draw top of hidden compartment .

Cut MDF using MDF cutting tool.

Total 4 big parts and 8 small parts.

also make small pieces for Hold MDF on it.

Glue small MDF part as per Shown in image.

Assemble all MDF parts with fevicol adhesive.

Place the Vertical part in the center of the drawer to place it at center and stick there.

Stick all small parts side by side.

Place the top part of MDF on the vertical part.

If you want to paint MDF, you can spray paint all parts with White color.

After Successful assembly part,it's time to test .

Collect your Secret things and p[alce inside Tht compartment and cover it with Top MDF part.

You can hide Pendrives,Hard drives,Important Papers,Money,Mobile Phones,Keys etc.
