Cutting to It Size!!!
We Used two sheets of 4 foot by 8 foot plywood for this entire project.
Pieces you will need to cut out (I used a table saw it made it so much easier)
These are the measurements we ended up using
- Two 79 3/8 inches x 31 3/8 inches. pieces used for the top and bottom of the table
- Five 8 inches x 30 3/8 inches. pieces used for the inside dividers and side pieces
- One 8 inches x 72 1/2 inches. piece used for the back of the table
The panels that cover the holes are all different sizes to house different things
- 9 3/8 inches x 18 7/8 inches
- 9 3/8 inches x 19 inches
- 9 3/8 inches x 17 1/2 inches
- 9 3/8 inches x 20 1/4 inches
Drilling Pocket Holes!!!
We used a Kreg Jig to drill pocket holes in almost every piece we had except the top and bottom parts.
We Drilled 4 pocket holes on the bottom of the inside dividers and 2 on the side to connect it to the back.
Then we drilled 9 pocket holes on the back piece to drill it to the bottom.
Putting It Together!!!
Step on how to put it together (how we did it)
- First we lined up and drilled in the 2 side pieces
- Then we drilled in the back piece into the bottom and side pieces
- Next we lined up the middle dividers and drilled them in
- We drill little holes for the screws for the hinges
- Lastly we screwed the screws into the hinges to create doors
