Scrambled Omelet
This scrambled omelet recipe is beginner friendly recipe that is very easy to follow. It is a savory quick meal to have for breakfast or anytime that you are craving it.
Supplies
- 1/2 tsp salt
- pinch of black pepper
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1 red tomato
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Prepare Your Ingredients
- Chop the onion
- Dice the tomato
- Chop the green bell pepper
Cooking Onion
Heat up the pan over medium heat, and add 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Once the pan and oil are at a proper heat level, add the chopped onion. Fry till starts to lightly brown
Tip: Use non stick pan to avoid any sticking during cooking process
Fry Tomato and Bell Pepper
Add in the diced tomato and bell pepper into the pan. Cook over medium heat, while stirring. Cook till they have have a soft soggy texture.
Seasoning
Once the onions have that light brown look, and the tomato and bell pepper have a soft soggy texture, add in the 1/2 tbsp of salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir till properly mixed.
Tip: Add a pinch of red crushed pepper or chopped serrano peppers if you like some spice in your food.
Add the Eggs
Add in the 3 large eggs by cracking them over the pan, or you can beat the eggs in a separate dish and add them in. Stir the eggs properly by making sure it does not stick to pan and scramble it to your liking. Let it properly mix in with other ingredients in pan. Cook until egg is fully cooked and soft.
Serve and Enjoy
Turn off the cooker, and take the pan off the heat. Serve your scrambled omelet with toast, or any preferrable side.
