Scope Mount Shimming

Sometimes a lad has a bad deal, his scope won't adjust properly to line up with his barrel and so it won't shoot straight.
Good thing is that there's a way to compensate for barrel droop by shimming the scope mount.

Cut a piece of material such as card stock, paper, thin plastic as a shim, cut it the width of the mount side that needs to be propped. Stick as many layers as necessary and reattach the scope.

Desire scope lookin further Downward: rear mount
Desire scope lookin further upward: front mount

Final

Once scope is shimmed bring the rifle to the range and re attempt sightin er in!
