Romano Chicken Pasta

This Italian pasta dish is perfect for any occasion. It's very simple; just chop up the ingredients, then throw them together in a pot, and voila!

Supplies

- Large pot

Ingredients:

- 1 lb angel hair pasta

- 3 ripe tomatoes

- 2 tsp. olive oil

- 1 large onion (diced)

- 4 large cloves minced garlic

- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (or thighs) cut into strips

- 2 cans black olives

- 1 green bell pepper (julienned)

- 1 15oz can chicken broth

- Grated Romano cheese (or Parmesan)

First Ya Do This...

Add 2 tsp. of oil to your pot on medium heat.

And Now, We Do This...

Add the onion and garlic. Cook until the onion is lightly browned and tender. About 5 minutes.

Then You Add Some Chicken...

Add the chicken and basil and cook until the chicken is lightly browned and cooked through.

Now for the Veggies...

Stir in olives, green pepper, and tomatoes. Cook about 3 minutes or until vegetables are just barely soft.

Add the chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil for about 5 minutes. Once it is done boiling, pour the whole chicken mixture into a serving bowl. Then, cook your noodles in the pot according to package directions.

Lastly...

When pasta is done, drain it and you're ready to eat! Plate the pasta first; then the chicken sauce; and finally, top with A LOT of cheese!!
