Resin Charcuterie Board

I made this for my Instructables craft, but I'm also planning on giving it to my Mom for Christmas. Overall, it was a very fun and beginner-friendly craft!

Supplies

1) Resin hardener

2) Resin solution

3) Resin mold

4) mixer

5) cup(s)

6) popsicle stick(s)

7) pigment

8) dried flowers

Mix Resin

First, you need to mix the resin. Make sure you mix equal parts solution and hardener. Otherwise, it will be too mushy.

Add Pigment

Once your resin is mixed, add whatever color you wish and mix some more.

Base Layer of Resin

Pour out an even base layer of resin and let it set for about 30 minutes.

Place Flowers

Next, place your flowers exactly where you want them to be. Once you're happy, pour the remainder of the resin on top, encapsulating the design.

Set Over 2-3 Nights

All thats left to do is wait! The resin will set over the next few days. Mine came out of the mold after 1 day, but wasn't truly firm until about 3 days later.

All Done!

Congratulations! Consider adding a bow or gift wrapping, and finally, give it to a loved one! Happy holidays!
