Receipt Tube Soap Dish
Receipt tubes, a niche category of plastic waste we produce every day has been ignored in the recycling process. Traditional plastic recycling consumes a huge amount of resources (e.g. water) and energy (e.g. heat, electricity).
Due to their small size, receipt tubes escape so easily that a large number of them end up in landfills. In fact, they are rigid, clean and unified that can be reused as a structural material for upcycling recreation. If they are collected intendedly and upcycled creatively before recycling, the resource and energy input for the downcycling process can be saved. In this sense, the product life-span of the receipt tube has been prolonged, the ecosystem burden has been lifted. If all the retailers who use receipt rolls add up, the plastic waste we generate that can be saved for the environment would be tremendous.
