Press Kit Plywood Pieces
I started by taking a lot of tutorials for fusion, so I could feel comfortable with the program. I also sketched in my notebook ahead of time to visualize the block I wanted. I wanted to create one block, that could interlock to itself infinitely, so the pattern of the notches on one side had to be the inverse notch pattern on the other side. I added one more notch at the top for some variation when building. I will upload the final product after I laser cut!

Finally got to two notches cut out!
But I’m still having trouble with the dimension tool, it only seems to pop up and be editable for me at very rare moments.
I traced to make the shape of the right side interlock with the shape of the left side of the block, but got stuck. I extruded with both shapes together and then the bodies were stuck together somehow
I used my timeline at the bottom to go back to just one body. This time I copied over and drew my sketch lines (then made sure to erase the 2nd body before extruding. This worked!
Tested the interlocking bodies one more timein fusion before exporting
Using the move/copy function with the right click
I exported for the laser with kerf sizes .15, .17, .18, .19. It helped to pay attention to what worked for other students, so I could reduce the range I needed to try.
