Chocolate Chips!

First off, take about a cup of chocolate chips and put them into your microwave safe bowl.

Melting the Chocolate!

Place your chocolate chips into the microwave and heat them up until they melt. This takes 1-2 minutes. You should stop about halfway through to stir them, making sure they don't burn.

Chocolate Shells!

Use your food grade brush or small spoon to cover just the edges of the chocolate molds, leaving the middle of the chocolate empty, creating chocolate shells.

Put your tray in the freezer to chill and harden the chocolate quickly.

Filling the Chocolates!

Take your mold out of the freezer when the chocolate has hardened.
Open up a package of pop rocks and fill each chocolate shell about 2/3 of the way up with the candy.

For the mold I used, I was able to get about 6 chocolates filled per single bag of pop rocks.

Sealing the Chocolates.

With the chocolates filled, take a butter knife and your bowl of melted chocolate and smooth a layer of chocolate over the top of each of the pop rocks filled chocolate shells.

Place the tray back in the freezer to chill and hardened the chocolates quickly.

Finishing Touches!

When the chocolates have chilled long enough, take the tray out and pop out the finished chocolates.
If necessary, use a knife to chip away any extra chocolate to make them look pretty and there you have it!
