Phone Holder
This is our phone holder product it makes holding your phone easier. It's durable, can vary in size, works well and can be fit in small/smaller places.
Supplies
The main supplies would include: a screwdriver, ruler/something to measure with and nails that fit the extrusion hole. (Most of the other things you need are either a 3D printer/the filament for it and something to design the product like computer and a CAD designing program.)
Note: you can also design this using raw materials without using a computer just follow the steps and make your own modifications
Design and Extrude #1
Make a 4-inch extruded circle then, make the circle about 2.5 inches thick but you can modify it. Finally, adjust the size of the hole on the rod to fit a nail/screw.
Note: you can also design this using raw materials without using a computer just follow the steps and make your own modifications
Design and Extrude #2
Start a sketch on one of the sides on the rod/circle and make a rectangle measure your phone and enter the measurements for the dimensions. Then extrude 2 rectangles on the side using a sketch on both sides, the size of the extrusion should be more than half your phone height for both rectangles. Finally extrude a hole in the middle of the phone holder to fit a nail or screw.
Note: you can also design this using raw materials without using a computer just follow the steps and make your own modifications
Sketch and Extrude #3
Start a sketch on the other side of the rod/circle and make a smaller rectangle, measure what you want the clamp to clip onto and enter those measurements for the dimensions then, extrude 2 more rectangles on the sides on the first sketch and make them long enough to fit onto what you want to clip (make it thick enough and strong enough for the surfaces of whatever you're trying to clamp onto.) Finally extrude a hole that can fit a nail/screw.
Note: you can also design this using raw materials without using a computer just follow the steps and make your own modifications
Export and Print
Make sure all platforms are flat and can be printed correctly and wait for it to be complete (make sure the print does not have any problems or this will take longer. Once it's done take it out of the printer.
Assemble and Complete
Grab some nails/screws that fit the holes you made in the design and grab a screwdriver that works for those nails/screws then, screw the design together. Finally test it out and see if you need to make any corrections if not your done.
