Park Bench Trashcan

While hiking I see more and more Cigarette butts on the ground. There are also a lot of other trash but people have learned to take home their "bigger" parts and peaces.

The cigarette butts are simply thrown away with the thought "what can happen with such a tiny thing ..." like my wife also learned a lot of things can happen ;-)

I've wanted to provide a simple trashcan, may the people start using them for all the little pieces of trash. To change the world, spread not the idea but think about similar solutions.

Supplies

2 screws

old can

some magnet (use one of the 1000 instructables to learn how to )

Trash CAN

As a german I was basically forced to use my favorite canned food as a main Part. A can of "Sauerkraut".[1] every other can will also work as long at a magnet is attracted to it.

Apply with highest precision several holes into the bottom. For that you can use an old screwdriver.

Screy the Magnet to the Bench

Use your screws and apply the Magnet to the bench and apply your can.

Hope for the Best

Lets hope this work...

when you come back and see the can filled up to the top you should take the trash to a regularly emptied trashcan. Do not throw that stuff back into the forest.
