Paracord Survival Bracelet
In this instructable I'll show you how to make a paracord survival bracelet using paracord and the cobra knot.
What You'll Need
Paracord around 7-9 feet, Ruler, Lighter, Knife
Measure Your Wrist
Measure your wrist using the paracord and measure the piece of paracord with a ruler.
Then double the length and add a knot see picture. For example my wrist is 7 inches so I used a piece of paracord 15 inches long.
Then check it fits you again it should be a little loose so the paracord can wrap around it.
Measure Length of Paracord
You now need a long piece of paracord to estimate the length it's about 1 foot of paracord per 1 inch of wrist and you can add another foot for mistakes. For example my wrist is 7 inches so I used 8 foot of paracord and the length was perfect.
Starting the Cobra Knot
Place the long piece of paracord under the bracelet then take the left side and put it over the bracelet and over the right piece of paracord. Then take the right side piece and put it over the bracelet and under the left piece. It should look like the picture.
The First Knot
Take the right piece and put it over the bracelet then take the left piece and put it over then under (the pictures explain it better).
The Second Knot
Do the same but in reverse for second knot (see pictures) then keep repeating knot 1 and 2 until you have complete the bracelet.
Completing the Knot
Cut the ends then melt them so they stay flat to the bracelet.
Finishing the Bracelet
Cut the ends then melt them both together with the lighter.
