So...week before our wedding my wife-to-be came to me and said that she saw awesome windmills on ebay that would look great on our way to the altar, but it was too late to order them so I had to take in into my own hands... I someone will appreciate the result :)

What we need:

  • Color paper of your choosing (not very lightweight!), size A4 or A3
  • Wooden sticks
  • Scissors
  • Colored pins
  • Small pliers
  • Small auger

Let's start!

Fold the paper as seen on the first picture and use scissors to make the square.

Cut the lines (pic.3). Be careful not cut to far into the middle, just about 2/3 is fine.

Use pin to pierce right corner of every "triangle".

When you got all four, pierce the pin through the base right in the center.

Almost there!

Use the auger the pierce tinny hole in the wooden stick.

Insert the windmill with the pin on and use small pliers to bend the pin as seen on the picture.

Try to give it a spin with a blow.

Congratulation, you are done!

Now you just have to make about 40-60 more for the effect! At least that's what I had to do :)
