PVC Desktop Organizer

In this Instructable I will show you how to make a desktop organizer with a few scraps of pvc and some household tools in about 10-15 minutes.

Materials

For this project you will need:
- PVC pipe scraps of varying width.
- A tool for measuring 60° (Protractor or 30/60 triangle work)
- A marker
- A hacksaw
- Sandpaper
- Superglue

Mark the Angle

This angle will be cut to make the bottom of the organizer. Take your marker and angle device to mark an angle that will run 60° to the walls of the pipe.
To make another module of the organizer on an already-cut piece of pipe, simply mark and cut a line perpendicular to the wall of the pipe.
This organizer is made up of multiple modules with the same angle, each with varying lengths. My cuts were about 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", and 3" long. Mess around and try different lengths to get different looks and results.

Cut the Pipe

Saw along the line that was marked in the last step using a hacksaw. Afterwards, clean up the edges of the pipe with sandpaper. Repeat this for each module of the organizer.

Arrange and Glue

Find the arrangement that you want the modules to be put together in. Once you find the best arrangement, glue them with superglue at their contact points.

Organize!

Once the super glue dries, your desk organizer is ready for action. This organizer can be attached to walls or put on a desk. If you need more space you can always cut and glue on another module.

Note: I didn't put a bottom on mine. You can cut out and glue circles of inner tube or cardboard to the bottom of yours.
