Parts Needed: (All 1/2 inch PVC pipe and fittings)

- (1) 6-foot long pipe

- (2) 3-inch long pipes

- (2) Tee Connector

- (4) End caps

Tools Needed:

- PVC Bendit Tool (Found on Amazon: http://amzn.to/2wlDZBK affiliate link)

- PVC Bending Forms ā€“ Homemade (optional)

- PVC cutters

- Heavy Duty Clear PVC Cement (Found on Amazon: http://amzn.to/2wlDZBK affiliate link)

Just remember that PVC is only a form of hard plastic. It can and will break if too much weight or force is applied and injuries can occur. Use of content for personal projects is at your own risk.

Bending the Pipe

Bending the Pipe

Using the PVC Bendit tool, I heated the pipe to make it bendable.

I then placed it in a homemade form to allow it to take an almost ā€œSā€ shape.

(You can use other stationary objects to bend the pipe around.)

When it cooled, it retained the shape.

The heating process can be performed with a heat gun, but the end result will not be as nice of a shape.

Make sure to only heat the PVC pipe outside.

DO NOT burn PVC pipe, it is not safe to breathe.

Adding Handles

Adding Handles

On the inside of the pipe as it started to straighten, I made a mark on both ends.

I then cut the pipe in half at these locations, making three separate pipes.

Using Tee connectors facing away from each arch, I connected these pieces back together.

I added 3-inch pipes to the Tee connectors for handles.

On the open ends of the pipe, I added end caps for safety.

I then used PVC cement to glue the Tee connectors in place because they kept coming loose.

Using the Massager

The massager is easy to use.

Just grab a handle with each hand, swing one of the arches over your shoulder and begin to rub on your back.

It really feels good.

An additional option would be to add a tennis ball to the ends for added comfort.
