Owl Designer Wall Clock

As woody plants grow in diameter a new layer of wood is produced each year by the cambium. This layer is called as annual ring or growth ring. These rings have always fascinated me. I always tried searching beauty in these rings. When the wood is cut in planks one could get half circles. These half circles when joined together we could see as if owl is staring at us.

This has inspire me to use this beauty in wall clock & make an owl designer clock. This project is an outcome of the same. I have explained step by step how to convert wall clock into owl designer clock.

Take a hack saw. Check hack saw for sharp & straight blade. Depend on wooden block length use small or big hack saw to cut on the marked line. Slowly cut through the line. While cutting make sure pencil line, hack saw blade, your hand & shoulder are in one line. After some cutting make sure your cut is going straight. To check this 2mm marking should be on both the sides of wooden block.
