Origami (ish) Plane/Biplane/Triplane

The reason I say "ish" is because while the model does not require any cutting, it does need to be glued together. Of course, I had to tell you that for you to notice, so if nobody asks, they will never know! You can create a monoplane, biplane, or triplane by omitting or adding wing sections. You need at least 2 pieces of paper for a monoplane, and two additional pieces of paper for each additional set of wings.

The Body, 1-8

1. Fold in half twice.

2. Fold the corners to the center.

3. Fold the edges to the center.

4. Fold the tip up.

5. Fold into thirds.

6. Fold angle bisectors.

7. Turn over and fold the edges to the center.

8. Look closely for these creases.

34. Using the triangle as a reference point, valley fold this section.

40. Rabbit-ear fold the flap using existing creases.

41. Spread out the layers of the flap as shown to form a propeller.

Top Wings: 1-8

The top wings require 2 pieces of paper.

1. Fold the pattern shown into the paper.

2. Repeat on the other piece.

3. Overlap the two triangle flaps, with the unfolded segments facing outward as shown.

4. Fold the edge to the crease, connecting the two papers.

5. Fold again, locking the two papers.

6. Fold the flap over, locking the model even further.

7. Fold the corners to the center on existing creases.

8. Fold the edges to the center.

26. Open up the edges to make tabs.

27. You are now finished with the upper wings. It will probably want to open itself up due to the thickness of the paper, so use binder clips and glue to flatten it.

Assembly is fairly straightforward. Use liquid glue and hold it together with binder clips. Enjoy your origami plane!
