Here's the problem. How do you water these little guys without hurting them or splashing all over?

Tools and Materials

1. Empty quart jug

2. Plastic straw

3. Drill and bits

4. Hot glue gun

Wash the Jug

Wash the jug and straw

Find the Drill Bit

The drill bit should fit snuggly into the straw. You want the hole to be slightly smaller than the straw.

Drill Hole in the Cap

Drill Another Hole

Drill small air hole in handle, but not through the other side of handle.

Stick Straw Through the Cap

Put the bendable side to the outside

Glue

Glue both the inside and outside of straw/cap to get a really good seal. Go generous on the glue to help stabilize the straw.

Water

Add water. Having your thumb over the air hole can regulate water flow onto plants. Covering the hole will decrease water flow.
