No Sew Fox Plush + FREE PRINTABLE

before_after.jpg

It´s a project that you can make in less than an hour, it´s very easy, and because we won´t use needles, even kids can make it. This could be a perfect gift, you´ll make someone very happy and he/she will be impressed you actually made it by yourself!

I already did all the hard part, (drawing our little friend), so you only have to print it out.

Gather Your Materials

  • Print this free file on an iron on transfer paper
  • Fiberfill or stuffing
  • White fabric. I recycled an old stained tshirt.
  • Fabric glue
  • Scissors
  • Iron

Iron

Now, you´ll notice there are other friends around the fox. I just place them there because I hate wasting transfer paper. You can use those faces to make something else, (I´ll post later an instructable of what I made with mine).

Cut the fox and iron it to your white fabric. Wait until its cool and gently peel off the backing paper.

Cut and Glue

Cut the fabric leaving an edge of around 0.5 cm. This white fabric shouldn´t have transfer paper ironed on it or the glue won´t work.

Cut the exact same shape in another piece of fabric. Because I liked very much how it looks, I decided to recycle an old blanket for the back, but you can use the same white fabric for the back of your plush.

Put together the two pieces of fabric, with rights sides facing each other.

Now glue it, you have to do it in small sections (4cms) and don´t put the glue to your fabric directly from the tube. First put a little bit of glue on a surface (I used the table, but you can use a lid, or even the back of the transfer paper you just peeled). With the help of your scissors, take a little bit of glue and spread it on the white edge. Put both fabrics (front and back) together and press that section with your fingers so it sticks together. Repeat through all the perimeter, but leave 5cms open so you can stuff it.

Stuff It

Now before turning it inside out, you´ll have to make some cuts. In the picture I show where you should be cutting, corners and curves. Only cut where the fabric is white. Turn it inside out. Check all the edge, if you see a hole, just put more glue.

Stuff it, you can use a pencil to push the stuffing and fill the legs and ears.

Close the Slit.

Glue the last part and pinch it with your fingers so it closes.

And thats it!

Enjoy!
