Nerf Demolisher Desert M4 Carbine

This instructable covers how to make the Nerf Demolisher to resemble the Desert M4 carbine.

Parts & Tools Required

Nerf Demolisher.

Nerf Modulus Duel Rail Barrel Extension

3D Printed – Nerf to Picatinny Rail Mount. ( 6.5" long )

3D Printed - Nerf to Picatinny Rail Mount. ( 2.5" long )

3D Printed – Muzzle Break Barrel Extension with Sight Tower for Nerf Gun

15 shot banana magazine

Nerf Raider or Super Soaker extending shoulder stock.

Airsoft Picatinny carry handle

Most of these parts can be found listed on Ebay.

Extra Nerf rail ( salvaged from another blaster or super soaker )

Tools

Small Phillips head screw driver

Sandpaper

Tan/Sand colored spray paint or vinyl dye.

Painters tape

Here I've cut the rail off of a broken Super Soaker I salvaged for parts & glued it to the top of the gun behind the access door.

Notice that the seam of the rail lines up with the seam of the gun. Done properly this will allow the gun to still be disassembled for repair if necessary.

Here I've removed the 4 screws that hold on the pump for the rocket launcher. This allows the handle , slide & plunger to be removed.

I've also taped off the areas of the gun & barrel extension that I don't want painted.

The stock has already been painted.

Here the parts have been painted & prepped for reassembly.

Reassemble the blaster, replace the batteries & cover , rocket launcher plunger & it's handle.

The Nerf to Picatinny rail pieces slide over the original Nerf rails & tighten down with set screws.

Place the rear one & secure it first. Slide the front rail on but do not secure it.

The handle has 2 screws that both tighten down the side clamp & lock into the groves in the rail so the handle doesn't slide forward or back.

Position the handle on the two rails. You can slide the front rail forward or back until the handle screw lines up properly. Tighten the handle screws down then tighten the set screws on the rail to lock it onto the blaster.

Snap on the extendable stock.

Add the Demolisher barrel extension.

Add the Muzzle Break Barrel Extension & 15 shot banana clip.

( Optional ) add another 3.75 - 4" Nerf to Picatinny conversion rail to the front barrel extension top.

Load up your completed Nerf M4 & have some fun.
