My Childhood Cheesecake
Welcome to my childhood cheesecake recipe!
Hope you will enjoy it as much as me and my family do! :-)
Supplies
bottom:
· 200 gr biscuits
· 100 gr butter
· 1 tablespoon of honey
filling:
· 400 gr of New York cheese 30%
· 150 gr sugar
· 1 cup sour cream
· 150 ML sweet cream
· 3 cornflour tablespoons
· 1 bag of vanilla powder
· 3 eggs
· lemon juice made from a quarter lemon
topping:
· 250 gr frozen berries
· 50 gr sugar
· 60 ml water
Preparing the Bottom
1. crumble the biscuits
2. melt the butter
3. mix it all together until it is uniform
4. flatten it on a baking pan with a diameter of 22-26 and put it in the refrigerator for now.
Preparing the Filling
1. Mix in a mixer the New York cheese with the sugar
2. blend
3. add the sour cream
4. blend
5. add the sweet cream
6. add the cornflour
7. add the vanilla powder bag
8. blend
9. add the eggs one by one and blend mix it all well
10. add the lemon juice
1. put baking paper and butter on the sides of the baking pan so it won't stick
2. pour the filling into the baking pan
3. turn the oven to 180 degrees, and fill the mold inside the oven with water, and let the steam form
4. wrap the outside of the cake in foil all around, so that the water will not get in
5. put the cake in the oven for a half an hour.
6. lower the degrees to 150 for another half an hour
7. turn of the oven, and let the cake rest in the oven for another hour
Topping
1. boil in a pot berries, sugar and water - until it bubbles and the sugar is completely dissolved
2. boil for another 2-3 minutes
3. cool down
4. pour it on the cake
